Had a really nice experience at The Toasted Yolk Cafe. The food was good overall, the drinks were refreshing, and the service was great. I had the Southern Arnold, which was really good. The other order at the table was the French toast, which was okay, but the biscuits and gravy were good. One thing to note—on all the biscuits, the bottoms were a bit tough, which took away slightly from the overall dish. Aside from that, it was a very nice experience and definitely a place I’d come back to.

Ordered the two egg breakfast and was not informed about up charges, like $3 for loaded hash browns and for a few strawberries on my French toast. Not sure if the upcharge was on the menu. Also $4 for a cup of black coffee is ridiculous. The food was good, but I've had better at Waffle House. Check out my pics, does that look like a $45 meal?

Very friendly staff. My eggs were cooked. Perfect, my bacon was cooked. Perfect, my hashbrowns were wonderful, the coffee was a bit bitter, and the toast were not toasted. They tasted good but no crunch and if there’s no crunch, they ain’t toast. That’s the only thing that kept me from giving this place my own personal five star. Next time I will ask them for crunchy toast or at least brown toast.

We sat outside and it’s was very windy, but still very nice. I got the hot honey chicken egg and cheese biscuit with breakfast potatoes. Food was delicious! Server was great. Getting to the bathroom was a challenge and it’s was super noisy inside cause there wasn’t an open seat in the house. And my mom was using her walker so it was tight in some spots but we managed.
