Reserved a table for two on a Saturday night and the place was relatively busy along with a private event going on. The restaurant is located a few floors underground but has awesome decor and you don’t feel like you’re in the basement. Our table for 2 was intimate which was great for us, but maybe not so much if you’re on a first date. The server immediately came over with waters which I greatly appreciated on a hot day, and the staff were generally very friendly and accommodating. It’s nice they have an extensive menu but it’s confusing for ordering- next time I wouldn’t order wings and sush

Shore leave surpassed my expectations! Fun atmosphere, good service and many unique menu items. Sushi was so good! They’ve got things you won’t see elsewhere, and they didn’t offer some items you might look for, like California rolls. We ordered spicy tuna roll, tempura shrimp roll, wagyu skewers and the Dan Dan noodles. More than enough for two, and many menu items I’d like to try.

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times since living in Boston. I once went for their “scare leave” pop up for Halloween and my boyfriend, best friend, and I just went to their sippin Santa pop up. We had such a great time! The theming is always great. I love the attention to detail. We are vegetarians and they had great tasty options for that. The drinks were impeccable in cup mugs that you have the options to buy at the end. Also! I absolutely loved my experience - went with my college friend recently. What made our experience especially awesome was the kindness and patience that chef David showed us. Me and my friend are just a naturally curious bunch and David patiently answered all of our questions and explained where the fish come from as well. The sushis made by him were absolutely mind blowing as well! Thank you for showing us such a good time!
