Great spot for good coffee or drinks and some baked goods. Also a nice and comfort, relax, chill vibe for some lone time or a work place. They do have indoor, patio and backyard seating areas and it just fantastic surroundings. Staff are great and friendly, easy menu and quick turnaround. Plenty of street parking or parking lot nearby. Great neighborhood area fills with shops, restaurants, bars, baked goods, library, community center and so forth. Stopped by for last caffeine and cookie with friend before heading to the airport, which is nearby too. Love this place.

I’ve been to Burien Press on two different occasions, today being my second visit and I experienced the same off putting energy both times. My last visit, which was well over a year ago I recall the barista being VERY particular about where you stand to order coffee. Even though there was no one ordering, I was rudely told that I needed to order at the end of the counter. Fine. Today, somewhat of a same experience. My partner and I entered, noticed the sign that stated we needed to proceed to the left. I’d like to mention that there was no one ordering, we were the only people in line at this

First time in this coffee shop. They have good chai tea and pastries. They have a cute backyard. Definitely will come back again.

Disappointing across the board. Staff didn’t acknowledge us while we waited several minutes to order, and when they finally did, they honestly seemed annoyed we were there. I don’t mind mediocre service if the food is great. And I don’t mind mediocre food if the service is warm. Unfortunately, this was neither. The breakfast sandwich was disappointing: stale bread, a thin patty, and overall just not very good. We’ve genuinely had better breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks and McDonald’s. The drink was also mid for a higher than average price. One mid beverage and a disappointing sandwich cam
