We visited this restaurant because it was conveniently located near our hotel, Canopy by Hilton. The warm breakfast sandwich on a croissant was quite enjoyable. It was served with fritas and aioli, and the aioli was incredibly spicy! I also tried the steak, which I ordered well-done, but unfortunately, I didn’t like it. If you’re staying in the hotel and looking for a quick lunch, this place might be worth a try. However, if you’re not staying there, it might not be worth the effort.

This place is beautiful. I absolutely loved the decor. The staff were attentive and service was good. I went on Cinco de Mayo and of course ordered a margarita (they offered classic, spicy mango, and mezcal $10 ea). I ordered the classic and it was done just right. I also ordered 2 chicken tinga tacos ($6 ea) and an order of hand cut frites ($9). The food came out hot like it's supposed to so I was happy. The tacos were bland so I added some pesto dipping sauce that accompanied my frites (fries) and it helped but I don't ever have to eat the taco again. The fries were seasoned just right. No

Wayward is a good name for this restaurant. As in the service went wayward. Or the food order went wayward. I ate here at least five times since I was staying at the Canopy Hilton. One of the hostesses is very nice and over the week she knew instinctively which tables I preferred. I’ve eaten here mid afternoon, breakfast, brunch, dinner, and lunch. I had free meal vouchers as a Hilton member. The first time I ate here there was a food item missing from the burger. The staff was very accommodating and retrieved the missing ingredient.
