Palm House is highly recommended if you’re looking for a great spot for happy hour and small bites. The drinks are fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I tried their Palm House slushy, which was the perfect treat for a warm day in SF! We also loved the food—all the small bites were so delicious that we ended up ordering second and third rounds because they were just too good to stop at one! Beyond the food and drinks, the technology here is a huge plus. They use QR code ordering at the table, which makes the whole process so much faster and more convenient. You don't have to wait

We got the chicken sandwich, the macadamia nut mac and cheese, the popcorn shrimp, and shrimp tacos. The chicken sandwich was flavorful and crispy, even without the extra toppings. The macadamia nut mac and cheese had a good balance of flavors. The popcorn shrimp was small and crispy, fitting as an appetizer. We ordered the shrimp tacos, but we received fish tacos instead. It was still tasty though. We were sat in the outer area, where service was less convenient than inside where the bar area is. It was a bit confusing to order, especially with a group, but the staff helped us figure it out.

Service here was wonderful, even though there was only one person running the bar, front of the house, and table service, we saw no decline in our experience here. Food, in particular the condiments had an interesting island twist. Would defiantly come back if were in the area especially since they’re really dog friendly!
