Some of the cheapest and tastiest food in all of Boston!!! They're extremely generous with their portions, their $4 large fries 🍟with free special sauce can be a meal by themselves. And their burgers 🍔 are always juicy and perfect. All my loved ones insist on going to Lee's every time they visit me from out of town. It's a Brookline and Boston classic institution at this point.

We recently did takeout as an alternative to going to Shake Shack. Haven't been here for quite some time even though we live fairly close. Their chicken sandwich, I remembered, was good so wanted to try the burgers. The fries and onion rings were good and the burgers looked like proper burgers with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions, much much better than the way Shake Shack build their burgers. Unfortunately, the beef patties were a bit dense and dry and we had ordered medium temperature. I would try the burgers again though and order more rare temp.
