the servers that helped at our table were friendly and checked on us multiple times throughout our stay. the food was pretty good. the calamari came out fast but was pretty plain on its own. the batter was crumbly and had a bit of a greasy aftertaste. both sauces were good - usually I prefer the mayo/tartar sauces but the red sauce was really good with it. the baked pasta was nice but in the future I'd go without the chicken add-on. it just made the dish harder to mix and it was already a lot of food. I used to enjoy Paesanos, but my latest order was a huge disappointment. I ordered a cheese pizza with mushrooms, and they charge $1.25 for a single topping, yet the quality was nowhere near worth the price. I've ordered from Paesanos before, so I know what they're capable of. Unfortunately, today's pizza wasn't even close and the biggest issue was that the pizza was undercooked. This place is so cute with lovely paintings on the wall. The pasta portions are huge — the sauce is super flavourful and the shrimp is perfectly succulent. Honestly, the quality you get for such a reasonable price is amazing.
