March Madness is upon us so good food, dark beer options, and lots of tv screens are the name of the game. Beacon Tap delivers big time. I know they’re not common, but order the smoked wings. The tender meat falls off the bone and the sauce (served on the side) is so good. Just a touch of heat with a bunch of flavor. We devoured most of them before I could get a good picture. Beer selection is good and fairly priced. They have bourbon specials for the whiskey drinkers in your group. But the real draw is the place itself. Good vibes abound and the service is friendly and on it.

We had an absolutely wonderful time hosting a party here for my dad. Tommy and his team were incredibly kind and took such great care of our group. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. They were accommodating with everything from the food and bar packages to the music—just everything we needed to make a good time great. Highly recommend Beacon for whatever you’re celebrating.

The food was fine I tried the wings and they were dry, the celery was old even I told the waitress but she said “ohh sorry about that “ didn’t offer to replace it or anything. The Nachos was fine the guacamole wasn’t the best and had a lot of red onions for some reason. I believe its more of a bar food and not that quantity food. Good thing beer is at a good price! The other thing I didn’t like is that they push you to pay as quickly as possible which is not very polite I can ask for the bill when I am ready. The outside patio was nice since the weather was fine.

I dont know why the place is called Beacon Tap; there isn't a tap or keg on the premises. I had a mixed drink instead. The bartender thought it delightful to toss empty beer bottles into a can from a distance to make everyone aware of how many beers had been drunk. I thoroughly enjoyed the random klinking noises of bottles during the soccer game on TV. No food served during the heat wave. I dont think our party missed a great meal.
