Back at a family favorite, Black Bear Diner. My kids, now teenagers, always pick this particular branch to celebrate their birthdays. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, tender and paired nicely with fresh steamed veggies and redskin potatoes topped with beef gravy. The chicken pot pie was hearty and very filling, served with redskin mashed potatoes and country gravy, classic comfort food done right. We had to wait to be seated despite the being no one in there late at night. The place was missing several items, out of corn bread muffin, out of cranberry sauce for my turkey dinner, out of soup so I had to get salad instead, out of baked potato but later "found" a baked potato that was old and had little pieces of foil inside it. . I was here for a presentation. Parking was abundant. Service from the door to the end of the visit was kind and courteous. The lodge feeling was very comforting.

We ordered delivery . The food deserves zero stars. 1. Chicken tenders- 0 seasoning . Not even a grain of salt 9r pepper. . 2. Turkey club- again absolutely flavorless. Turkey had 0 salt or seasoning. 3. Same with the chicken sandwich. The avacado and tomato was the tastiest part of this mess . 4. Fries- hot fries, piled on top of the sandwich n the box sealed shut. Result , one sorry soggy mess. 😵‍💫 5. No straws for the beverages. No ketchup for the fries . 6. 3 entrees but just 1 set plastic ware . But, I did receive 2 containers of strawberry jam 🎉. Such a waste of $70. Never
