Every bit of my experience was excellent, with special thanks to our server Doug. He made excellent recommendations and gave us impeccable service. My friend and I met for dinner on a Wednesday evening. We’d made a reservation but it wasn’t overwhelmingly busy so I’m not sure if we’d have needed one. We were seated at a table in the front corner, cozy and comfortable. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, and entrees but had no room left for dessert. Fun supper club! Viceroy didn’t disappoint! Started off with some amazing drinks while sharing a paneer tikka dish + garlic naan. Then Curry for everyone!! Everything was sooo delicious.

Cadbury rice pudding is really where this review needs to start and end. Divine. Excellent beer and wine and cocktail list too - but the star is the British style Indian food with a twist here and there. Service is excellent. A must visit in downtown Durham.

I went with a group of 10 people after an event at American Undergound. We arrived around 9 PM. It took a while to get a table but the wait was worth it because our server was very friendly and patient with our questions about the food. I got myself Sarson ka saag, medium spiciness. It got just the right amount of heat. My friend got himself chicken vindaloo and unfortunately it was too spicy for him, even with naan, so I helped him finish his plate. The highlight of the night was the Pani Puri! I've never had it before and wasn't sure about the correct way to eat it, but I liked how crunchy
