A great spot for dinner. We stopped in the last weekend of March for a campus tour of LUC. Straight from the airport to Uvae for dinner with 18 and 20-somethings. Super friendly LUC alumna held our luggage, got us excited for dinner, and really added to the experience. Our waiter was helpful as we picked so many items from the menu to eat. Fried artichoke, prawns, scallops, oysters, and deviled eggs were superb. Missing some items we ordered but you get the picture. Loved the atmosphere and think you are doing a great job.

This place never disappoints. The wine selections are impressive, the menu has something for everyone and they are very celiac friendly. The duck fat fries, burrata and mussels are a few of my favorites; and the menu is updated seasonally so there are always new variations and dishes to try. One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago!

We had a reservation at 7:30 PM, but ended up waiting around 45 minutes before finally being seated. At that point, it really makes you question what the purpose of making a reservation even is. What stood out even more was the behavior of the male servers. Their attention toward women felt noticeably excessive and unprofessional. I was there on a first date, and both of us found it uncomfortable how the focus at our table seemed disproportionately directed toward her rather than providing balanced service.when you’re paying around 170 bucks for a simple dinner for two, basic professionalism s
