This McDonald's has a great location on University and Jackson Rd. The parking lot fills up at peak times as does the drive through. However, if you can get them, there are some parking spaces with good shade on the Jackson Road side. When you enter, don't expect anyone to greet you. They want you to use one of several kiosks to order your meal, but you can go to the counter and order there. I found the kiosks to be cumbersome if you want anything customized... you can do it, but it takes longer. The most friendly thing about this McDonald's is the kiosk prompter. Just went by the drive thru on Jackson Road and University Drive in Edinburg across town. Ordered a Happy Meal for my child. I get home and no nuggets. I call McDonald's and I am told that they are sorry. That they would reimburse me if I was to go back all the way across town. That they could not reimburse my credit card. My personal opinion is that they could of done better. This a McDonald's that my family go by at least twice a week. Well it was.
