First time guests from a family recommendation. Weekend nights it is highly recommended to make a reservation as the restaurant was near capacity by 5:30pm. Host seemed unenthusiastic and grumpy. Our table was forgotten about for about 15 minutes before we were asked what drinks we wanted. Atmosphere was dark and large majority of the patrons are over 75. Food was not delayed but was either under or over cooked. Staff was seen folding napkins and preparing linen in the dining area and was a distraction to our meal. Friday 4/10/26, truck broke down & I called AAA. With over 1&1/2 hours to kill, I walked half block back to grab a bite & kill some time. Smallish, close, old-time pub-looking restaurant, nice bar, friendly & experienced staff. Ordered cheeseburger & bourbon & water. Simple meal with a perfect drink & a simple but 1 of the best hand-made burgers I've had anywhere, & at a fair price. Rest of menu looks incredible too! Will certainly be back with hubby when there's a better time!
