⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic experience at Anson 11 (A11) in El Paso. Everything from the food to the service was spot on. We started with the Chicken Tortilla Soup, which was flavorful and comforting, and the Old Bay Crab Cake, which was excellent — well-seasoned and nicely prepared. I was incredibly disappointed by the food today. It was terrible. I ordered the lamb shank and it was bland, overcooked, and tough. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were out of a box. My partner's pasta tasted like home cooked chef boyardee spaghetti. The calamari I took to go was clearly undercooked. Even the fried tasted like potato chips somehow. I almost felt that I was being discriminated against for being a younger customer.
