This is a great spot in hotel El Paso del Norte. Great attentive service and creative spin on classic dishes. The carne asada is large and savory. The chicken is juicy and tender. The diablo shrimp is also a nice spicy touch. Each meal has a nice blend of southern texmex with a southwestern kick.

It’s okay, nothing special. The disappointing part is the size of the portions, they’re tiny. The ceviche I ordered looked so small I wondered if it was someone else’s left overs. The shrimp diablo was similarly a small child sized portion. Considering that the shrimp diablo is on a bed of rice, it would cost pennies to just add a little more rice to each plate. Oh and it was $55 before tip for those 2 items, plus a bottled beer.

Not sure what the 1 star folks are complaining about , but after more than 250 reviews I’ve done here’s my take on Sabor .. service was excellent by Erin … Had wonderfully suggested guest favorites as well as her own personal favs … She was not intrusive on our conversation and timed our food perfectly.. Food was hot and delicious , only complaint would be a little pricey on most items . But it is in The Hotel Paso Del Norte … Thanks Erin for a pleasant dining experience.

We went on mother's day morning. Overall the experience was okay but we received conflicting information from the waitresses. One told us they do not have the breakfast buffet on weekends and another said it started at 10. A third waitresses said they never tell us.
