Cory Thompson★★★★★This restaurant is my new favorite in all of Las Cruces and El Paso. It was absolutely amazing! Our server Veronica was great and did an amazing job. The food was SO GOOD! We had the Beet and Burrata salad, the Mexican Butter(one of my favs), the Sea Bass and the NY strip. Everything had such good, varied and unique flavors. The mocktail my wife ordered was hibiscus, cinnamon and grapefruit. You wouldn't think those flavors would meld together, but it was fresh, warm and tangy all at the same time. We finished with the souffle and earl Grey ice cream. The passion fruit and coconut in the souff
Emma Soto★We recently dined at Taft Diaz for their prix fixe menu experience, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment — especially for the price point. The meal cost $350 for two, not including drinks, which we expected would reflect a high-end, thoughtfully curated experience. Sadly, the food was mediocre at best. I’ve genuinely had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse, which says a lot considering the premium pricing here. We also paid an additional $50 for a caviar appetizer, only to realize it was essentially the same item we received in the first course — a potato casserole with minimal cavi
Max Stanton★★★★★After spending nearly two months at the Stanton House for business, we frequented Taft Diaz multiple times per week, and it was always something I looked forward to. Great consistency, attentive service, quality dishes, large wine list, and basically no complaints. It is not cheap, and some might find it precious, but given the level of food, I think it's a decent value. Highly recommend the beet and burrata salad, the half chicken, the salmon, and any of the tacos. Looking forward to returning soon.
Gene Morales★★★Food was good enough maybe for the price but definitely not for the service. The host gave us a table right away even though we didn't have a reservation which was really nice. That was the peak service we got. After that, we had multiple waiters take our order for drinks and starters but we just got water but they kept asking if we wanted a alcoholic drink. Mind you my wife is 9 months pregnant so that wasn't an option. We ordered two soups for starters and two entrees but never go the starters. Even after we received our entrees I had to ask for our soups but they had no recollection of it.
