We recently visited The HC Tavern + Kitchen with a group of friends and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing evening out. The service was truly exceptional. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the entire meal without ever being intrusive. It’s always nice when great food is matched by equally great hospitality. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the standout dish for me was the Shrimp Tortellacci. I am always impressed by my visits to HC Tavern. I usually get scallops, which are kind of expensive at the moment. Another option would be the filet sliders, which are also amazing. I'm recommending either. My most recent visit included my sister, and her birthday. The lemon cake we shared was perfect. The wait staff was efficient, professional & personable. The drinks were also delicious, and improved the meal. I felt super comfortable and well-respected. It also felt like time was suspended for the evening: no rush, no pressure, just us and our time together.

We had a fantastic experience here for our wedding anniversary. I have wanted to try this place for years after seeing someone else’s lobster cargot photo! Plenty of parking. Inside is decorated nicely and is very open. We went on a weekday for lunch. The vibe was casual enough to dress down for lunch. The lunch and dinner menu are the same. Our server, Kristen I believe, was amazing. I never had to ask for a drink refill. The food was all amazing. I consider myself a foodie and this is one of the best meals I have had in Indy!
