Went to Illegal Pete's on Friday night and had some tasty "nachos" (w/o cheese, but still very good) on the rooftop patio with great views. The portion sizes are just impressive and the vegan options were very tasty and not lacking. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good fast casual restaurant with a chill environment, lots of seating, and a good meal that is going to fill you up.

I rolled in here late one evening looking for a quick, filling meal, and it totally hit the spot. The vibe inside is super high-energy and fun, with awesome music playing and a really cool bar setup. I ordered a burrito bowl and was impressed by how fast the line moved and how fresh all the ingredients looked. The portion size was huge, easily enough for two meals, and the flavors were spot on with just the right amount of kick. It is a fantastic, laid-back spot to grab some great food and a drink while exploring the town.

Okay... Friday night, Avs are in playoff mode, there is awesome upstairs patio, and this place can't make a decent margaritas or decent chicken 'dilla. Cmon Illegal.... Place ain't busy for a reason.... What's that reason... Cuz the food looks like this, (3 pieces of chicken and no cheese! Are we out of cows?) margs are weak, and the service time takes the same amount of as me writing this novel. Yo! Vatos Tacos is 3 blocks away! Pick that one!

At Bar, Happy Hour Coin Marg - excellent and $1off ($7.50). Bartender: Austin (sp?) - excellent service, friendly, happy, great drink maker (Coin Marg), went for one happy hour Marg, wound up 4 drinks in (Uber home) and a Keto steak salad bowl. Went if for $8 visit, left with $40 spend. Good for you. Usually have company, but being solo - it was nice to have a Bartender that clearly has a knack for quaility customer service. Keep up the good personnel management.... food is good too. recommendation: bring back the free chips and salsa. would not lose money on that... i would drink more to wash
