I believe steak n shake in Galesburg illinois is the best its ever been. Amazing new manager took over about a year ago and has completely turned this restaurant around. When you dine in the self order is little tricky at first. The whole inside is always clean. The food it great! My favorite is chili Mac supreme. The kitchen looks clean. The employees are presentable. Dining room is clean. Very pleased with everything. Id recommend going and trying it out if you haven't been there in a while. Ive heard so many people saying how its better and so much has changed. Keep up the great work!!

Food is good, but get it through the drive through. It's fully self service and even though we were the only customers inside, no one acknowledged us through the whole meal except to call our name from the counter to pick up food. There was also possibly a manager walking around the restaurant talking on a cordless phone too. It felt like staff made it a point not to greet us, potentially in response to the fully self service model, but it made our lunch uncomfortable.

Stopped in today a little after they opened and had a big order for work. The staff working today were AMAZING. They were fast, efficient, friendly, made sure everything was correct, double checked the bags, offered to help me carry it to my car. I know with big orders a lot of places get annoyed but they were nothing but wonderful the entire time and the food was great.

Stopped in tonight, and I was amazed by the very welcoming staff and prompt service. The meal was very good, and quickly prepared. The manager even went out of her way to help my father make his order. Thank you! It is so refreshing to be greeted with a smile!
