Everything is great. Food.. Great. Service... Great. Building can get a little loud, but not too bad. I've enjoyed every trip here. Especially when they let me know they haven't sold out of cinnamon rolls yet. They only thing I would change would be that they don't serve country fried steak until after eleven am. I really miss having CFS and eggs for breakfast.

We got to try Monument Cafe for breakfast this morning! Sadly upon entering, there was a bad smell that lingered the entire time we were there. My mother-in-law thought it might be some cleaning chemicals, but to me, it smelled like old food gone bad. My kids commented on the smell and unfortunately it did take away from the experience. Our waitress was nice and joked around a lot, telling us no when we would ask for something, but kidding about it. It was interesting. My eggs, home fries, and pancake were great! I’ve been living in Georgetown for over a year and I’m so upset with myself that I have only recently gone. Truly a Georgetown GEM. Extremely packed and bustling but rightfully so! Delicious food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere which is odd to say because it’s packed and loud, but somehow, it felt homey. Everything from the biscuits to the pie was 10/10. If you’re in Georgetown or if you’re not, it’s worth a visit!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I had the avocado toast, which was sliced avocado, a poached egg, cilantro, and toasted pumpkin seeds on rosemary bread and it was fantastic. The combination of flavors was rich and earthy, just the right amount of everything. It came with a tomato salad with fresh greens, vinaigrette and red pepper flakes. Overall a flavorful, fresh and healthy meal. The atmosphere is themed art deco/diner and was spot on though at the time they did have a portion of the inside walled off for remodeling. They have limited hours but do serve breakfast the entire time
