So sad, we were expecting a delicious beef brisket and bacon sandwich but as one can clearly see the brisket and bacon were very sparingly applied. This is half of the sandwich I checked out after my husband had eaten the first half. Thought it looked a little skimpy, and when I opened it apart, I could barely believe that’s all that was on it. The sourdough bread was supposed to be toasted. It was, but just barely and fairly soggy by the time it gets to your table. Also the smallest sourdough bread I’ve ever seen. Stopped by Tejas Meat Supply recently and had a decent experience overall. The food was solid bar food and enjoyable for what it was. Service was definitely slower than expected, but it may have been due to college graduation weekend and possible staffing shortages. What really stood out was the professionalism of the GM. They stepped in, handled the situation well, and made things right, which I really appreciated. That level of customer service and accountability goes a long way.

We stopped by Tejas Meat Supply to catch our good friends Rob & The Renegades Lite perform, and while we were there, we decided to try out some food and drinks. Right when you walk in, the atmosphere gives off a fun “outdoor picnic… but inside” kind of vibe. There are unique touches everywhere, including a variety of taxidermy pieces on the walls, which definitely adds to the character of the place. They also have a great selection of beer on tap—JT tried a sunshine-style beer along with a margarita, and he really enjoyed both. Service-wise, everything moved quickly. We ordered drinks and food

Table service seems haphazard. There is a sign at the front door stating seat your self. There are some 2 top tables along the side wall. There are 10 picnic tables that might seat 8. I sat alone at a picnic table and thought others might join me. When a server noticed me my order was promptly filled. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork was dry and there is no sauce available at any table. The fries are terrific. Next time I'll sit at the bar and hope for a better experience.
