We like to eat local on road trips and stopped based on reviews. Sadly our experience was terrible. We ordered bean and cheese burritos (kid friendly) and they were horrible. A slop of beans with no cheese, flat as a pancake, and wrapped like a crepe. Spent $15 to get the rice and beans options and oddly there was only rice and no beans on one of them. We also got the wrong tacos- ordered pastor Americano style and got carne asada with cilantro and onions. You can tell walking in this is a sleepy little locals place. Even though right downtown, for breakfast, there was a lot of open seating. The waitress knew all the locals and was very friendly. It was bizarre, rude, and complete

We decided to go to Las Marias and get some Mexican fare. However, when we got in to the restaurant we noticed the menu was huge and a bunch of the kids started craving American breakfast foods which were on the menu. I laughed at them, thinking that I would not order French toast or pancakes from a Mexican restaurant. However, I was wrong. The food here is plentiful and everything they made was just fine. We were especially impressed by the quantity o
