We have loved taco party ever since they opened and eat here several times throughout the year. We like to come here on special occasions or with friends and family from out of town because it is a fun atmosphere and a delicious menu. The prices are higher than most restaurants around GJ but the food you get is delicious and unique and their menu always offers in season ingredients. One thing I really wish they would change back to the “old days” before COVID was their full bar and fresh cocktails. After 2020 they have batched their cocktails and pour them out of a tapped keg. As a chef I am always delighted when the food surprises me. The flavors, the technique, the skateboards! Everything was soooo good. Best guacamole I have ever had! I highly recommend the pork pastor. So much depth.

This place has a lot of hype, not sure why because the food left something to be desired. There were a lot of artisan aprons in the kitchen for food that was mid grade at best. Unique taco flavors - I’ll give them that but nothing was uniform, some were soggy, some were overcooked, and none of them served had the same amount of ingredients. One taco had 3 pieces of steak, and another had 8? The fish was cooked great, the chicken was chewy? I was hoping for more of a culinary experience but it’s cool, I just probably wouldn’t recommend for a quick stop or great food.
