April 10th, 2026 around 12:40 one of the, who I assume is close to manager was quite rude to us while we we're preparing to enter the business. He was about 5'9, grayish bread, a beerish belly, caucasian skin complexion, and black hair with faded sides (Paul may be his name) and I can understand if he was having a day, but unwarranted comments towards me and the people I care about, in a place I observe quite often, feels rude and imprudent. I was very disappointed by my recent experience at Panera. The restaurant refused to accept a $50 bill as payment, even though it is legal U.S. currency issued by the United States Department of the Treasury. Not everyone carries a debit or credit card, and some customers rely on cash for their purchases. Refusing a legitimate form of payment creates an unnecessary inconvenience and can exclude customers who prefer or need to pay with cash. If there is a company policy against accepting larger bills, it should be clearly posted before customers place their orders. Otherwise, it feels unreaso
