The food tastes great! It’s very nice inside and the staff is very friendly. Only issue is price. This is super expensive. Compared to food portions of other places you do not get the bang for you buck. Sure it tastes great, but you’re left craving more with how small sides are. Onion rings were literally like 6 of them in the box. Thats a dollar an onion ring. Fries are a little bit better but still small for $5. 2 people can get up to $50+ depending upon what toppings and food items you get. Great experience, but may not come back just because of the expense.

Overall, I do like Shake Shack. However, this was my most recent experience, having not eaten there for a bit. I ordered the rib sandwich and smokeshack burger, bacon fries and nuggets to share. The rib sandwich was decent, but oddly lacked barbecue sauce, which was an odd choice. The smokeshack was good, though it does feel like both items are little small. Fries were pretty good, if a bit soggy, both the loaded ones I ordered and the plain ones my wife had. My chocolate shake was good, no real complaints there, though it was smaller than I expected. This used to be one of our go to places to eat when passing through or going to Woodfield mall. But after our experience today, we won’t be returning. We waited at the register for a few minutes to order (there was no one ahead of us), and then finally a worker came to us and asked if we were paying with cash or card. I said card and then she told me that “we have the self ordering kiosks behind you if you want to order there. Sorry we’re kind of occupied right now. Unless you want to wait a few more minutes.” We had our 2 baby’s with us, so of course trying to order from the kiosk is harder f
