Trudy★★★★★Today’s lunch was not just some of the best seafood I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT in many states) it was some of the best food! We ordered Grouper, oysters, and shrimp fried and all were perfection-not greasy as often served. My broiled scallops were flawless and delicate. The hush puppies were also perfect and oh! so good. Our sides were great compliments to our choices especially the Feta slaw. Our server was Sheryl and she was everything a server should be and helped make this friends lunch something special!
John Motes★★We attended a high-school graduation celebration dinner here with friends. Our reservation was for a private back room for 25 people. That reservation was fumbled by the restaurant staff. We were eventually seated in the main dining area at 3 separate tables (strike one). I ordered a large seafood platter (pictured). It came with two pieces of tilapia, one of which was completely burnt and inedible (strike 2), two burnt hush puppies, two scallops, 3 and half shrimp, 2 fried oysters and some undercooked asparagus. I ordered a bowl of gumbo also... it was the best part of the meal. Lastly,
Cortez Stafford★★★★★Long story short…don’t judge a book by its cover. Or a restaurant that’s on a hill. Not sure why but I drove my this place dozens of times before finally going in and I’m upset that I’ve been missing out on so much good food for so long. Solo dining so I sat at the bar and ordered a delicious sweet tea. Next were the char grilled oysters. Just like they do in New Orleans. And the warm buttery bread that came along with it was warm and fresh. Stephanie at the bar was helpful when ordering and also attentive the rest of the time. Will for sure be back and will probably become a regular.
Darlene Lee★★★★★The staff was so friendly and the owner’s wife, Nancy, visited with us and told us some of the history of the Fish Market when we asked about it. The oysters were so fresh. We ordered Angel Oysters as an appetizer. I ordered the Small Platter and my husband ordered the Larger Platter. I got the John Slaw as one of my sides and it was so good. I got grilled and he got fried. They checked on us the perfect amount of times. They brewed fresh decaf coffee for me. They refilled our drinks. I forgot my little to go box and they brought it to me outside. We will definitely be back!
