By all means, a five star rating. Food was cooked exactly as requested, hot, good portions for the money spent, service by several waitresses was great and the place was pretty clean. Food was served surprisingly quickly. The atmosphere was comfortable and quiet, but not eerily quiet. Good place in my book.

First time customer. I normally boast places that I have dined at.. Not this time. I am in town visiting family and they were telling me about this breakfast mom n pop place " Poor Richards" . We arrived and entered the establishment. Stood in the doorway for a few minutes as waitresses and bus boys walked past us. Then I noticed inside the "dessert" glass encased fridge in front of me, a sign that reads " please seat yourself". I found this cute little restaurant while I was staying in Kalamazoo. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the prices were unbelievable. Gia was my server all three times i came in, and she really went above and beyond. On my second visit, I also met Bre, who made this delicious treat for me, after I had a pretty tough morning. Thanks ladies! I will definitely be back.
