Lone Star is the collaboration of the shared and individual experiences of owners Aaron Sanders and Max Toste, who spent much of their early years in Texas and Southern California, respectively. The flavors found on our menu are both familiar and robust, inspired by the open air markets and taquerías of Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles, Oaxaca and Mexico City.

We love Mexican food and always try different restaurants to compare. The tacos here were delicious and not very expensive. The place is small but clean and cozy. The staff here is very courteous, the drinks were very good. Please try the birra taco it comes with a delicious comsome that you can sip as a soup with all the right ingredients. If you are looking for an affordable tacos spot and good drinks look no further this is the SPOT.

I had told them I have an allergy and they still out cheese on the taco so I sent it back. It seemed like they were confused. And they I loved the Veracruz fish taco. One of the best things on the menu for sure. Amazingly seasoned. Nice spice. The shrimp tacos felt like they were frozen to me.

Our waiter answered all our questions and took great care of me with my food allergies! I felt totally safe!! The food was packed with so much flavor and everything just melts in your mouth! The guacamole was literally the best I’ve ever had in my life and the tacos were flavorful and fresh!! We wanted to try one of everything so we will definitely be back. The ambiance is welcoming and I loved the decor. 10/10 stars!!
