We were here for my wife’s birthday weekend. I had heard a lot about this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The service was fantastic. Menu was perfect. it’s a small dining room but very intimate. There are seats at the bar. We were wondering if it was possible just to come in to have a drink at the bar. I had oysters for an appetizer. they were tasty, but perhaps the smallest oysters I had ever seen. My wife had the swordfish which was delicious. I had perhaps the best duck breast ever. ✨ Café Marquesa ✨ One of the best meals I’ve had in a long while — easily top 10 of all time. From start to finish, everything was flawless. Wilson’s knowledge of the menu and attention to timing made the entire evening seamless. Thom paired our cocktails and wine perfectly with each course. The entire staff was warm, personable, and genuinely welcoming — hospitality at its finest. We began with the Baby Gem Lettuce (lychee, red onion, puffed rice, coconut ranch) and toasted focaccia with whipped ricotta and olive oil — fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. For entrées:

We ate here last night for the second time and for the second time we were blown away. The bartender, Sophia (I hope have the name right), and she is great. She was knowledgeable and attentive (not in an annoying way). When eating at a bar the bartender can easily become a distraction or a feature of the experience. She was such a positive element of the experience. She served us on our first visit and was a big part of our decision to return. Now the food. One of my favorite restaurants, ever. We ate here for an anniversary dinner, and every aspect of the dinner was perfect. Our server was prompt and kind, and the restaurant gave us special menus printed for our anniversary. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced. The portions were surprisingly large for a fine dining restaurant, which is refreshing, because have left Michelin star restaurants hungry before due to the tiny food trend in modern fine dining. Every course we had here was fabulous. To start, I ordered the oysters, and my husband ordered the caviar onion dip.
