I’ve been to the Pico location of The Grain Cafe several times now and it continues to impress me every single visit. The team here is always incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel the care that goes into the food. The Burger Deluxe is one of my absolute favorites. The patty made from beans, grains, and vegetables is flavorful and satisfying, and it’s stacked with avocado, tempeh bacon, mozzarella, pickles, tomato, and their special house sauce on a toasted sesame bun. Wow am i happy i found this place! Stumbled across the grain cafe while looking for some vegan breakfast spots in LA and let me tell you, the gf pumpkin waffles were maybe the best waffles ive ever had! The tofu scramble, hashbrowns and vegan sausage were delicious too. I even got a vanilla latte with oatmilk and berry smoothie and everything came out quick and delicious. The staff was amazing and the restaurant itself was really interesting, nicely kept and decorated but definitely not typical of any vegan place ive been to before. I’d recommend this place to anyone in the area!

All I wanted was a vegan and gluten free waffle. But The Grain Cafe turned out to be so much more than that! The customer service was wonderful (I didn’t get our servers name but this was July 1st at 12pm) the music and atmosphere were excellent and the gluten free, vegan waffle was THE BEST I have ever had. Go frequent this restaurant and tip well, they are doing a great service to the area.
