Great spot for a pizza. The outside atmosphere was calm and inviting. We chose a sunny spot. The view is of neighboring buildings and a little fountain. Pizza was thick and certainly authentic. It’s a little pricy for my preference but the taste was great and toppings were plentiful so it was worth the splurge.

First time trying Buono's. We like the downtown location and the plaza where you can enjoy your meal outdoors. The food was very good, it came out hot and the portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. The wait staff seemed ill trained and not really enthusiastic about wanting to help. Nothing bad or rude just very mediocre. We will definitely be back.

One of the few Italian places I’ve been to that absolutely lived up to the hype. I remember being a kid and seeing Buono’s commercials on TV, highlighting how great the food was. It definitely did not disappoint. We had a chicken bacon ranch pizza. Quite expensive but worth every penny considering the quality of the pizza. Everything from the dough to the sauce to the cheese and toppings was perfect. I was so satisfied and happy I got to finally eat here. I look forward to coming back and trying the pasta and some of the other stuff I’ve been recommended to try from here.

This spot is a hidden gem in Long Beach. I usually go for the pizza, but the ravioli with pink sauce is actually incredible. Definitely worth checking out if you’re on Oceangate and want something that hits the spot. Highly recommended.
