We were greeted by the hostess at the entry stand and informed that there would be a 30 minute wait eventhough there were several open and clean tables. After declining a wait and turning to head out the door, we were offered open seating at the bar. We accepted the open bar seating. Service was slow and the kitchen was backed up. The Thai chicken pizza was good but could have been hotter.

I am typically not one to complain about service but I couldn't believe a downtown location that a majority of clients would be in a lunch hour would take nearly an hour to bring food to the table and be this short or understaffed. We waited so long we needed to end up taking the food to go. On top of that the restaurant was not busy, the food was clearly rushed after we asked for to go and was mediocre at best. If you are on your lunch hour in downtown Long Beach I would AVOID this location if you want to eat and get back to work on time.

We alighted at the terminal stop at Downtown Long Beach. Since we wanted to have pizza, we had the Burnt Ends Pizza ($21) at California Pizza Kitchen. For drinks, we had the refillable Peach Lemonade ($4.5) and Passion Fruit Mango ice tea ($3.7). The total came up to $36. Even though we just missed the Happy Hour from 3pm to 6pm, we were surprised that there were still quite a number of people who came in for dinner.
