I’m a big fan of this chain and order here pretty frequently. Having worked in the restaurant industry for several years, I understand people make mistakes. What was surprising and disappointing is the lack of accountability and willingness to try to make the situation right. I ordered a Large Secret Sauce Wings for take out. I love bb.q chicken and have been spoiled at the one in Quincy. I had ordered twice from the Lowell location and they have been disappointments. My first order, I ordered the Rose Ddeok-Bokki and got the Mala instead. I know the taste between the two but I prefer the rose. And I was like whatever, it’s fine. The second time we ordered, they did the exact same thing, Mala again. But this time, all they gave us was just the rice cake. Where was the fish cake???? The chicken was so amazing spicy sweet crispy I love it my first time eating from bb.q I also had there sweet potato fries they was pretty good I wish there was a little bit more crispy, but overall Everything is definitely a 10 out of 10 and I will buy again.

Food is really good at this place, but the customer service is terrible. I walked in and wasn’t greeted by the waiter at all. When I asked about my order, he went to the kitchen—I assumed to check on it—but never came back or gave me any update. My order was already supposed to be ready 15 minutes before my arrival, and I was left standing there with no information. I don’t know what’s going on with this new generation, but people need to put their phones down and pay attention—especially while they’re at work. Good food can only carry a place so far when the service is this bad.
