This was our first restaurant visit since moving to Lufkin, so we were excited to try something new. We walked in during a busy breakfast rush, but there were still plenty of open tables. Once we reached the front of the line, the young lady behind the counter greeted us right away, took our order, and handed us our cups. The drink station was clean and stocked with a good selection. We grabbed a table—both the tables and floors were clean—and within about 10 minutes our food arrived. I always stop at this location, as my pitstop when traveling between Houston & Longview. Service was good, though, lately, it has slowed significantly at this location. Glad I checked our bag before leaving, they forgot one of our sides. The chicken looked overcooked (it was, and dry, when I ate it later) and had barely any sauce, so I asked for more. The grilled fish didn't look very grilled. While driving in the car on the remainder of our trip, I kept smelling an odd odor, which I realized was the fish. I asked for no coleslaw on sandwich and sauce on the side. They're both on my sandwich and when I called to ask for a correction of some kind they just said the kitchen made sure they didn't put anything on it..... ? Ok you can clearly see what's on the sandwich....

Great menu! It was cold outside today and just as cold inside. But food tasted good. Coffee was good and hot! Didn't like having to make several trips to get silverware. It would have been nice if they told us when ordering where everything was. Ordered combo meals, good value! Everything cooked to order so came out hot!
