We’ve been coming here for 20 years and the food is still great as ever. You can never go wrong with the combo fried rice and garlic chicken! :) Parking isn’t hard to find and the staff are super friendly. Would highly recommend if you’re in Menlo Park.

This was our go to Chinese takeout restaurant for years. In the last few months service has been poor with much longer wait times than promised. The quality of the dishes has been rancid and skimpy. The potstickers now have a sugary taste, the duck has been inedible, rancid and skin and bone. Once we received another customer’s order. They forgot our ordered dishes twice. We looked to their website for an email address or contact form to share our experience with management - there was none. We will have to find another Chinese takeout option.

My go-to chinese food for the past 4yrs! Used to go there at least once a week - usually when my child came back from sports meet. The owner (same as my name) started recognizes me.... Missed his food so much - we moved overseas temperory for now unfortunately. But when we r back in town, we'll definitely head back for our fav - beef w/ brocolli (brown sauce!) and Beijing chicken wings!

Went to Chef Kwan‘s for the first time and ordered vegetable chow mein with cream cheese wontons. Lots of parking near Trader Joe’s in the back. Appropriately socially distanced in the lobby. A few little tables to sit. Specifically asked if the wontons were vegetarian and was told that they have egg, but other than that would be okay. Well, actually, they have crab— which I don’t consider vegetarian. Really big bummer. The noodles were all right, but tasted very black peppery. Probably would not return here, unfortunately.
