We truly love our MI Checkers! We’ve been eating here for many years, and have never been disappointed. Their sandwiches are great, and their fries may actually be the best in the business! The staff here has always been friendly over the years, and we love sitting outside, watching the traffic on Courtenay and the often interesting weather. Seriously, we do love this place!

The employees who work here- April 8, 9, 10, and 11th between 10pm and 1am: have been making me the most fantastic fast food burgers available bar none. I am not a huge a fast food fan, but when I do want a burger I go to Checkers. Sometimes it is a bit wonky, like any fast food nowadays- but NOT AT THIS LOCATION. THEY MAKE THE NICEST NUMBER 1 BURGER OF ANY CHECKERS I HAVE BEEN TO IN THE STATE. Neat and with care. It's absolutely phenomenal, I never get bad food when I come here. So tonight we got our lunch at 2:15am. And decided we wanted checkers. The app, and Google both say your open until 3am. We get their and order. When we get to the window, this young lady asks us why we came so late. I was like it's not 3 yet is it? And she's like it's close enough. I still had 20min. Then she says we close our line down at 2:40, next time don't come so late. And the guy in the back was complaining about having to make our food. If you close the line at 2:40 then your close time should be 2:40. So we open our food and it's like luke warm and nasty with cold sliced cheese. This

The food was so good!! And the apple pies are worth every penny! 😋 We ordered double cheese burgers, chicken sandwiches, chocolate shakes, and apple pies. We had great service!
