We went out for dinner last night and I ordered the Mahi Mahi with Paisano sauce. Oh my God, it was delicious! The vegetables were cooked to perfection—not overcooked, not raw, just perfect! And the rice is so different from what you get at other restaurants in the area. We’ve been here a couple of times, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

We visited Paisano Cafe on a trip to Las Cruces with friends, and this is a meal we’re still talking about! I had the enchiladas which were packed with flavor, the green chile and cheese pairing beautifully with the beans and rice. Not pictured are the chips and salsa which both were so fresh! I would go out of my way to visit again. The staff was so kind and accommodating to such a large group!

What a lovely place to stop for a great meal! It was lunchtime and several tables were seated, but it wasn't overly crowded. The menu has a great variety of dishes with something for everyone. Our waitress was informative, attentive, and very pleasant. The ambiance is nice with music (a modest volume so you could carry on a conversation) and artwork tastefully displayed on the walls. We tried the quecas with huitlacoche to start. It had such great corn flavor and a delicious filling. Our waitress also provided a flight of their mole. All of them were wonderful. For entrees, we had the enmolad

Tuna Steak was bigger than expected and delicious. The sweet mashed potatoes with coconut sounded weird but was literally one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. The Tampiqueña was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Both of us ate almost everything, as portions were large, but it was so good we couldn't stop eating. We will definitely be back for more!! Note that the photos were taken after we ate a few bites because we couldn't wait. The food presentation was perfect before we dug in. Wow!
