It was my first time dining here and I was not expecting much from Utah for the sushi scene but it was even better than the sushi I had in California and on par with the one I had in Japan. The vibe was exceptional, the food was AMAZING. I got the hamachi and kampachi nigiri, seared salmon belly, the wagyu handroll, octopus carpaccio, spicy scallop roll and creamy spicy tuna roll. All of them were so good I can still taste them in my mouth. The service was also excellent, everyone was so nice and the place just had that special atmosphere. I will definitely be back soon!

I just did their first after hours Omikase night. It was unbelievable. We had 11 courses which included some unique dishes only available during the event. And after the courses they let us know we can order more and thats included in the price. I was too full to get any more, though. They also have a drink special during the event. Can't wait to attend more of these. Our server, Jay, was great as always! Great job to TG and the rest of the team at Ika!

I’m seriously obsessed with Ika Sushi! It was my first time visiting, and I took my friend there for a birthday treat. We decided to go for the Omakase to celebrate, and honestly, every single dish from the start was a total surprise. I tried omakase course menu and honestly it was really good. The fish tasted super fresh, especially the nigiri and sashimi. You can tell the quality is better than a lot of sushi places around here. The rolls were tasty and the rice was just right—not too dry or too mushy. I also liked that they have some unique options you don’t usually see everywhere.
