We made reservations at Spoon and Stable for an earlier brunch over the weekend. Quite frankly, we were trying to get reservations for dinner but it was completely sold out for several days in advance. We were still happy to get a brunch reservation. Upon arrival were greeted and even though we were 15 minutes early the hostess was able to get us seated immediately. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is very open, with plenty of tables and booths. The kitchen is open concept, so you can see the chefs preparing the food. We had a great experience at Spoon and stable once again! My all time favorite S&S dish is the halibut, but unfortunately they didn’t have that on the menu this time :/ we started with the bison tartare (not photographed), and it was delicious and salty! Great appetizer! We both ordered their fish dishes for our main course, and we agreed that the trout was much better for us. It was similar to a piece of salmon.
