Went for dinner the other night with family and it was great! Food and service were amazing! Carbonate, chicken parm, some type of seafood pasta and veal picatta were all absolutely demolished! Not a crumb left. Excellent experience! Also had the fried goat cheese salad but didn't get a picture of it because the table finished it before I could take a picture. Delicious!

Favorite for years. Always Excellent Service. Looking forward to their new location. We (4 top) always start with sharing 2 Bruschetta & 2 Insalata Caprese for the table. Entrée this evening was Vitello Ripieno Caprese. And it was so DELICIOUS!!! Never enjoyed such a taste sensation. Like most people I love Italian food, but this plate was like nothing before. Wish I lived in Charleston, instead of visiting it just twice per year, but every visit, Crazy Chef is always on the dining list.

I agree with the previous review. Food & service were excellent but we felt it was too bright, too loud, and the seats were not comfortable. While one of the most delicious meals I have had in Charleston, the portion of fish was very small for $40. It was more a plate of angel hair accompanied by a small side of fish and 2 or 3 spears of asparagus, artichokes. The coffee was probably the best coffee I have had since Caprricio’s (long gone) and the limoncello cake was also really good!

Our waiter Jim was excellent, took his time to explain the menu and was spot on with his recommendations. It was truly an authentic Italian meal that my family and I enjoyed. The entire staff was delightful - it was the perfect meal to celebrate our last night of vacation.
