I went yesterday and honestly had such a great experience. From the cleanliness of the place to the fresh, amazing food and the outstanding service, I can’t say enough good things. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. My steak was cooked exactly the way I asked absolutely perfect. I drive an hour every time just to come here, and it’s always worth it.

1st time being back in a couple of years. Had gone on birthday for almost a decade consistently. Unfortunately the quality of food has gone down. Medium rare steak was barely cooked on one half. So much so the server noticed (when I wasn't even going to say anything) and made sure to get the meal comped. Thank goodness the rolls and soup are still amazing. Service was exceptional. The lighting of the restaurant was also way too bright in the waiting area and back room for larger parties. Felt like you could perform surgery. Will say the rare steak made a great omelet the next morning.

The food is average. I ordered the spaghetti sampler with meatballs and sausage. There was no discernible difference to ‘sample’. The meatball was just ground beef with no flavor. The sausage was split to make it look like more than one piece. The soup is always good. The sweet tea was ok. We had to wait forever to be seated. The host took our name off the list and passed us by for 30 minutes. To quote Toby Keith about Demos’. “I’m not as good as I once was”

I’ve been coming to Demos’ Restaurant for over 30 years, so this place definitely holds a lot of history for me. If you go, I highly recommend the oven-baked chicken—it’s one of their best dishes. They’re also well known for their chicken and rice soup, and it’s still a favorite of mine.😋yummy! That said, I do feel like the quality has slipped a bit since the son took over. The salad is pretty plain and smaller than it used to be, and the side portions in general seem a lot smaller as well. Even with those changes, I still enjoy coming here.
