Excellent chilaquiles and fluffy pancakes. Rise & Bite Cafe was a great surprise. First time visiting Rise & Bite Cafe. As a Mexican who loves a good American-style breakfast, I’m always looking for small local cafes like this. The chilaquiles were excellent. We tried both the red and green salsas—both delicious. The green tomatillo salsa was fresh, mild, and well balanced with cilantro and jalapeño. The red guajillo salsa was rich and flavorful with garlic and just a hint of spice.
