Ciana Belton★★★★★We had an AMAZING experience at Anchor Spa! As a Caribbean-American this is one of my new favorites in CT! The menu is so well curated with a variety of Caribbean cuisine. The saltfish fritters give my dad a run for his money, and don’t get me started on those dessert doubles! The drinks were top tier. The service was top tier. The music choice was top tier. The atmosphere was top tier. Our server Randy…TOP TIER. Everything was on point. We will definitely be back!
Bites and Stays★★★★Im not from the area, and i was looking for a happy hour spot. I decided to go in because the happy hour was until 7pm and by looking in quickly could tell it was a vibe . The bartender was quick and took care of us. I had the rum punch and it was delicious. Usually happy hour specials tend to not be as great, so I wasn't expecting much. But I was so pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the drink. I would love to stop by there again if I'm ever in the area. I didn't get to try the food but I hope to come back for dinner and drinks. I would definitely reccomeded this place.

For a Friday night it was quaint and decadent. If you’re looking for an intimate chill spot this is the place to be. Not too loud, not too crowded, just right. The decor is different with a historical touch. I was disappointed as they were sold out of plantains but to me that just means they must be really good! Better luck next time. When I walked in, I was really impressed by how it felt like I stepped back in time to a classy New Haven cocktail lounge. I truly felt like any one of their past sophisticated celebrity guests could’ve walked in the door at any moment. We sat in a cozy, rounded booth, surrounded by a wall of books and antiques, and placed our order. Their craft cocktails are phenomenal, and their Caribbean menu had some great choices.
