Prime BGR in New Haven was a fantastic find! The location is super convenient to the Omni and being open for lunch made it an easy choice for a midday stop. I will be honest I like burgers but don’t usually order them when I am out to eat but boy will I be changing that thought process when it comes to Prime Bgr. Hands down the best burger I have ever had. Not just the burger but the pretzel nuggets, the crispy fries and chocolate ice cream are to die for also. My go to place for a gourmet burger when I get to New Haven. Grabbed an Ultimate BGR and a Fiddle head IPA with my bestie.... of course, ask for the Tater Tots, who's inner child can't resist?... cooked a perfect medium rare..... omg, being a boy of a certain size, I almost had to unhinge my jaw to eat it... sat at the bar, late lunchtime, 1:45 or so... Ciara, our bartender was quick to greet us, knowledgeable about their draft selections and got us started.... highly recommend.
