One of the best grits I have had. Their ham and hollandaise omelet was ok. The seafood Eggs Benedict was real good. I would have given it a better rating but the seafood kinda overpowers t bb e rest of the flavor. Still a well made Benedict. But to me at least, there is something special about cafes that know how to make a good latte.

The balcony is a cute place to sit and people watch when the weather is nice. Upstairs is much less noisy than downstairs. The restaurant had acceptable food, nothing particularly stand out. The crawfish bread was overly fishy and dry. The food is more pricy than it should be given you’re only paying for an entree with no side, because they charge extra for any side and for cheese on the burger. The service was very sub par. I recently visited Café Fleur De Lis for an early Saturday brunch, and it was a great experience from start to finish. We arrived early, so it wasn’t too busy at first, but it quickly filled up and had a wait as the morning went on—definitely a good sign. We were seated upstairs, which was clean, spacious, and a nice escape from the growing crowd downstairs. The atmosphere felt relaxed but still lively as the restaurant picked up. I ordered the seafood eggs Benedict, and it was hands down one of the best Benedicts I’ve had in a long time. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the hollandaise sau
