We had a fantastic experience! The jambalaya was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Belinda was the best and provided outstanding service, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. To top it all off, the staff surprised our birthday girl with a birthday song, which made the celebration even more special. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. We haven't been here in years and decided to try it again. The restaurant still looks the same...no changes. My husband had the red beans with fish, it also came with sausage and cornbread. I had the shrimp on bun which came with fries. Everything was good and plentiful. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly. Our server was amazing, Sara. She treated us like friends, made recommendations and had great conversation with us. The other staff we interacted with was also friendly.

Cafe Maspero was a great breakfast stop during our trip to New Orleans. The food was simple diner-style breakfast food, but everything tasted fresh and really good. My husband got the beef corned hash, and I ordered the breakfast plate with eggs, sausage, and a biscuit. The biscuit was especially good. We also enjoyed the unlimited Bloody Marys and mimosas. It was a fun spot to relax and start our morning before exploring the city. Service was friendly and we had a really good experience overall.
