I’ve been to the Panera Bread on Hayden Island a few times now with my two kids, and overall it’s a good spot when you want something a little fresher than regular fast food. The location is super convenient, right off the freeway and close to shopping, so it’s easy to stop by when we’re already in the area. The restaurant itself is bright and clean, and I noticed staff staying on top of clearing tables, which I definitely appreciate with kids in tow. The Spinach and Bacon Soufflé was the worst Panera product I have eaten, and that says quite a bit. I feel their products' flavors and overall value have deteriorated during the last 2 years The bacon i am sure was real, but it tasted like little clumps of über-processed pork. I wouldn't have guessed bacon if it isn't the description. Barely any spinach. Now, ya need the spinach to balance out the strong flavors of cheese and bacon- in a typical soufflé.
