I write today to sing of Marlene, the Queen of the Cheese Counter at The Grand in Winnetka. I have meant to write so many times, ever since I met her when we moved to Winnetka a few years ago. Marlene is an absolute delight, and does she know her cheese! She often makes suggestions (all delicious), and I know if unexpected guests are coming, there is always a tray of delicious hors d'oeuvres at her counter. I didn’t get the chance to get his name but he is a cashier has long gray hair/glasses and is tall. He is SUPER RUDE! no greeting, terrible customer service just absolutely disgusting behavior. He seems burnt out! Time for you to retire cause you have no point or service of being a cashier if you don’t know customer service!

OMG. The selection of Fine Foods is incredible. The bakery department, the deli!! A marker of a good assortment for my family - Sunset Foods has Bay's Cinnamon Raisin English Muffins!!! Can't find those at Jewel!!! We're going back to Sunset Foods tomorrow!!

What standing out at this store is very organized and super clean environment and don't have any unpleasant smell that's mean meat and produce are fresh, however, be prepared to pay little bit more than other competitors, in addition very friendly people working here willing to help.
