I was very disappointed. I only eat donuts on very rare occasions. They have become an infrequent treat, instead of a daily indulgence. So I stopped here for an apple fritter to enjoy at home. I was shocked at the quality of it. It was flat and doughy. Like it hadn’t been cooked at all. The flavor was okay. The texture was terrible. Worst apple fritter I ever had. I don’t normally post negative reviews, but it will be a long before I will have time to return to the store.

It's funny to see that the one thing I meant to comment about is the very latest thing commented about about 7 months ago. I purchased one of, if not the worst tasting Apple Fritters i have ever had this morning. Parts where raw with others crusted..how? and the flavor was as if no one checked or tried them before putting the whole batch out. I dont have pictures but i do stil have the bad taste in my mouth from the one and only bite i took as well as driving near 288 where there is one closer. Not sorry but this store wont be my first pick next time.

Everything is kind of smaller than the norm. Small donuts, Bearcats, apple fritter, large kolache is smaller too.

I frequent this Shipley's, visiting at least every other month, but each visit makes me feel like either i don't know how to order through the drive through, or that the order is purposefully incorrect. Only reason we come back is because my kids love it so much, but ordering through the drive through has become a nightmare.
