The place has a really cool atmosphere- modern but still cozy, which fits the whole “hygge” concept they’re going for. For anyone who doesn’t know, “hygge” is a Danish term centered around comfort, warmth, and enjoying the moment, and the restaurant honestly captures that vibe really well. One of the biggest reasons I want to come back is because they brew their own beer in-house through Brewery Techne. Philly has a strong craft beer scene, and Bar Hygge has become a pretty well-know

They were all so kind and friendly & everything came out very promptly. We also really liked that the bathrooms were fully stocked with hygiene products. We had the ricotta toast, the cheese curds, the Manchurian cauliflower, and a glass of the Adaptation rosé-inspired beer. Everything was excellent.
